Who We Are
We are two college friends that happened to end up in the same class for all our Design Studio courses throughout our Undergraduate Architectural Degree in '06-'10. We've been working together that long both academically and professionally. THR3 Studio was originally started back in April of 2020 when we both decided that the way most houses were getting built in our communities were not only poorly constructed but also being over priced and lacking true design behind them. Between our 30+ years of experience in Commercial and Residential architecture as well as Construction background, we decided it was time to bring to life THR3 Studio Homes and deliver not only beautiful spaces with a functional layout, but also eliminate the "additional costs" of building a home. We believed that every family should be entitled and able to live in a much better built home with building science principles providing a high performance, energy efficient, beautiful home no matter the market and no matter the price point. We believed so much in being able to disrupt the market with nicer, aesthetically pleasing, better built, performance based, much more bang-for-your-buck homes that we used our very own personal homes as collateral to finance our first Design + Build projects. Our success grew from those very first homes through word of mouth and today we continue to explore best building science principles while guiding families in the development, design and construction of their Custom Luxury THR3 Studio Homes.
Jose Diaz
Principal
Jose is a Graduate of UT-Arlington where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture Degree while being granted a Teaching Fellowship at the University. He maintains ties to his alma mater where he enjoys mentoring younger designers. His background includes site construction from a young age and along with his involvement in Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation and a passion for Real Estate Market analysis all have contributed to his “swiss-army” knife role in developing, designing and building a client’s dream home in the right market and location. Jose has also been appointed by City Council to serve in the Fort Worth Urban Design Commission which enforces the design standards and guidelines for new construction and renovations helping to shape the city of Fort Worth.

Adolfo Flores Jr
Principal
Adolfo also attended the University of Texas Arlington, receiving a Bachelor and Master’s in Architecture. During his nine years of professional practice, he has contributed on multiple projects throughout the DFW Metroplex, from the initial inception of the concept, through the final stages of construction. Adolfo brings a broad variety of project work; in terms of design, project type and size, construction materials, building codes, and design requirements to the THR3 Studio team. Adolfo's focus is mostly on project delivery, being a person that strongly believes in a holistic approach to residential architectural/development industry.
